PERFORMANCE CHANGE
Being required to undergo a workplace performance management programme can be very difficult for all parties involved.
For an employee whose work, output and/or behaviours are suddenly under scrutiny through regular monitoring and management, this process can be demoralising and stressful.
For the team leader or manager being so intensely focused on observing, correcting and supporting or challenging a staff member, this added pressure creates its own distress and hopefully new learning.
External coaching or counselling through this process for either or both parties adds integrity and confidence to a difficult process.
